Penguin Playground

To the left is pictured the Cape Royds Adelie colony. It may be difficult to see here, but there is a gap in the cliffs where the penguins can access the sea ice (& also open water). From this position we would watch as penguins cruised up and down the coast and also brought back food for the little chicks.
