Cook tent
Here's a shot from inside the cook tent. Pictured is Chris Jaros pulling out our food rations. We usually had three at camp at any one time...usually Chris and myself with the third person rotating depending on the tasks we needed to accomplish. We easily sat three in the tent in camp chairs with approx three boxes of random food stuff (anything from granola bars, oatmeal, canned soup and tea/coffee). Speaking of food, the food we were provided was broken into two main categories the CF's (can freeze) and the KF's (keep frozen). The KF's went in a cooler in a snow bank outside and consisted of mostly cheese and meat products such as steaks, swordfish and pork chops. In all honesty, I really did enjoy our meals in the field FAR more than the typical galley food.
