day trippin' to Royds

Here is a group of pics from the last two day-trips out to Cabo Royds. The weather on both of these excursions was nothing short of spectacular. You might even notice that on the last trip I'm not even wearing a hat or parka...the temps musta been at least in the upper 30's. Awesome!

Since I figure most of those reading my blog might actually be sick of all the Pony Lake pictures, I thought I'd try to keep these to a minimum. One of my fav's from this last trip is from a group of shots we took of sleeping penguins. It's really halarious to watch thier heads essentially flop off to the side as they doze off. Although they are smelly, vile little creatures, they are also a constant source of entertainment during our afternoons at the lake.
