Fade into Bolivia

Retuning from a very short week in La Paz, Bolivia I realize that there are less than 3 weeks left before I leave for Antarctica. This being my first Blog, my primary intention is to establish a little elbow room for the doctor of rock out here in cyberspace. I hope that all my friends, family and dedicated groupies will understand and accept the brevity of this initial post. As an initial offering, I'd like to share a moment from the beginning of the Bolivia-Uruguay world cup qualifying match I attended last week. That this was perhaps the most lack-luster and totally boring futbol matches I've ever seen should not take anything away from the fact that any game played over 12,000ft elevation is at least somewhat thrilling.
